 Tonight's hotel lets guests check in from midday but, absurdly, I'm too early even for that. I saw a sign which said that the bridge over the canal on the shortest route to the hotel is closed but I also saw a big group of other cyclists heading towards it so maybe it's actually okay. I'll go and investigate.
