 The valley of the Orne, which is the river which ends at the ferry port. I started today only about 10 miles from the port and I'm going for a 10 mile ride into the centre of Caen. The silly thing is that although the port is often referred to as Caen, I will still be as far from it at the end of the day as I was at the start.
