![]() A picture which I took while walking up a steep hill. There are two roads which I could have taken out of Houlgate. Both climb the same hill but one runs along the bottom of the valley for a while first. I have been looking at both roads on Google Maps in the last week and decided to use the valley road because it looked less busy. Three of the main thoughts which I had during the long time that it took me to climb this hill were: 1. It's started to climb steeply earlier than I expected. 2. It's busier than I expected. In fact, it's about as busy as I expected the other road to be. 3. It's got the cemetery on it, which is strange because I thought that was on the other road. Thinking about it now, it's quite remarkable that I didn't realise I was on the other road until I checked my map at the top, especially as I came along here in 2018.
