 One of my spokes broke as I was nearing the top of the hill. From that point, I only had about 3 km further to go, which included the descent of the hill in this picture, so I decided to risk riding down the hill with a spoke missing, and then walking the rest of the way. Fortunately, that didn't cause any more to break. Fixing spokes is an annoying job because it involves taking the tyre the gear cassette and the brake disc off the back wheel, replacing the spoke and then putting the tyre, gears and brakes back on. It takes about an hour. If I hadn't taken so many rest breaks earlier, I would have been able to do it while waiting for the hotel to open but it's already open now.
