 I know that I began my last trip by saying that it would be a short one but this year will be even shorter. This is just going to be a little wander around northern France, covering some quite pitifully short distances. This is Ouistreham, where I got off the ferry from Portsmouth late last night. The ferry in the picture isn't the one that I used. there are two of them which operate this route and that's the other one.
