Oh. It seems that they've changed the coins since I was last here. The nickel ones that I've brought with me won't be any use. I found Swedish coins very easy to use then because they were all similar to the British coins of similar value. Now, they have all been replaced by smaller yellow or brown coins. I was surprised to learn that there are now no coins smaller than 1 kronor, which is about 10p. I did notice that the Netherlands doesn't use 1 or 2 cent coins any more. When I bought something there, the change that I got was rounded to new nearest 5 cents. Those small coins are still perfectly valid throughout most of the Eurozone though. I've got some. I wonder what would happen if I tried to pay with the exact change there. There wouldn't be anywhere in the till to put the small coins.
