 I realised years ago that Italian restaurants are good places to eat in Germany because the menu is almost always in German and Italian so I have two chances of understanding it. Tonight, my hotel is actually part of an Italian restaurant so it would have been silly not to eat here. Apparently, they can't do breakfast here tomorrow morning so they have given me a voucher for breakfast at a nearby bakery. It's hand written and look like it says it's for 65 euros but I think it probably actually says €5€ with the double punctuation because Germans put the euro sign after the number and Italians put it before.
