 Bike parking right in front of my hotel. One of the reviews of this hotel was from somebody saying that they were impressed because they left a bag out here for two hours and it was still here when they got back. I didn't encounter as much rain as I had expected today, although it feels like it's about to start raining again. There was about half an hour of rain but not as heavy as on Tuesday and this time I put on a waterproof jacket and protected my camera and phone. When I stopped to check the map afterwards, two men stopped to talk and seemed quite concerned that I had been out in the rain. They were also surprised that I had ridden all the way from England. I have seen some other heavily-laden touring cyclists today so I wouldn't have thought we were an unusual thing to encounter around here.
