 When I arrived at the hotel, the man on reception noticed how wet I was and suggested that I should have a bath before filling in the paperwork. I said that wasn't necessary but on reflection, his idea was probably best because I got some parts of the form so wet that I couldn't write on them. He also said that the fire was blazing. I thought he was talking figuratively but when I got back from my little walk, I noticed an unoccupied room next to the entrance with dark wood and leather furniture and a blazing log fire, completely unlike the rest of the hotel. My camera had got into a weird mode though so I don't have a good picture of it. I fixed the camera in time to get a picture of this selection of olive oil which is inexplicably on display half way up the stairs to the bedrooms.
