I'm still the only passenger on this ride. The driver seemed surprised about that. Half-way across the dam, there is a monument and a small car park. The bus will later stop there and pick up another passenger who doesn't even have a bike.

By the door on the right, there is a contactless card machine. I think the sign says that if you have a card, you must tap in and out. I don't have one and nobody tried asked me to pay. Replacement bus services like this usually are free but if this bus is going to be doing this for three years and they've gone to the trouble of painting it and fitting it out to carry bikes, why haven't they removed the card machine? I don't even know which city's metro system it relates to.

According to a sign, I should have paid 50 cents to use the toilet in the visitor centre. I've only got 26 cents though and only 20 of those are valid in the Netherlands.
