 I came across the border yesterday and pretty much straight into this weird village which has no standard street furniture so I keep forgetting that I'm not in Germany any more. The several boxes of chocolate sprinkles on the buffet remeinded me. In the Netherlands, it's common to have them on bread but that would have involved either buttering the bread while standing at the buffet, buttering it at my table and then taking it back to the buffet to add the sprinkles, or using a separate plate to transport some sprinkles to my table and then pouring them onto the buttered bread. Instead, I put them on the cereal.
