 The railway line from Hoek van Holland to Rotterdam has recently been converted from a normal railway to a metro line. I'm not sure what the difference is but I heard that it's ahead of schedule. At the moment, trains are running but they have all no passengers all and are marked as not in service. Here's one of the stations. It has probably not yet been used by the public.
