 That's the road that I would like to use. I was looking at the map wondering what the best way round was when first a car and then that bike went into the closed road. I followed them and got to where I wanted to go. I've passed quite a lot of closed roads today and seen traffic going into most of them. In fact, I've noticed that in Germany and Scandinavia, motorists almost always give way to bikes and often deliberately back up to give bikes extra room. They even give way when we are both approaching a junction in a way which means that I am in the driver's blind spot. I don't known how they know I'm there. The exception seems to be when a car is going into a road which is closed or was never even a road in the first place. Then, they just go for it.
