 The Brother Grimm had a fairytale called The Town Musicians of Bremen, about a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster. Apparently, in the story they never actually reached Bremen. They are often depicted standing on each others' backs. The first time I was here, I found a statue of them but didn't get a photograph of it. This year, I haven't seen it, although when checking later, I did find that it's just visible behind the support of the parasol in the bottom left corner of picture 1461. However, just after the Cathedral clock strukh three, sound effects which sounded like them came from this hole in the ground. Several people were crowded round here looking at it.
