 A view of Halmstad, my destination for tomorrow night. In 2015, as set off from Blackpool one morning I had a similar view of that day's destination, Barrow in Furness. In both cases, the destination was about 30 km away. The difference is that for Barrow, I had to ride about 130 km around Morecambe Bay to get there whereas tomorrow, I will be able to ride almost straight to Halmstad. I'm expecting this week to be qute easy. It's about 260 km by road from Helsignborg to Gothenburg. I went further than that in a single day once on my 2007 trip. In most years, it would be two normal-length days. At the rate that I've been moving over the last couple of weeks, it would be four days. I'm actually allowing six days for it, with a following wind and no serious hills apart from the one which I have just crossed.
