We're very slowly overtaking the car transporter ship on the left. Several brand new looking cars with seats wrapped in plastic and no number plates were driven onto this ship while I was waiting to board. They were just ordinary cars and I would guess that France must export well over a hundred cars per day to Ireland so I wonder why those few came on a ferry rather than a transporter ship like that one.
