 The hotel where I stayed last night is full tonight. I've got a room booked at this hotel instead. I'm not allowed to check in for over an hour yet but I will be allowed to cancel it at any time in the next five hours. I thought it would be raining hard today so my plan was to sit under the canal for an hour and then come here. However, it's not raining at the moment and the forecast is now showing that tomorrow and the next day will be the rainy ones. This place is meant to be good and has rooms available for all three nights but I don't want to be stuck here for that long as there's only one restaurant anywhere near here. Instead, I've just booked another room for tonight in Mons, about an hour's ride from here. Mons has a great selection of restaurants. I saw them when I passed throught without stopping in 2004.
