 Just here, it looks like the paths along both sides of the canal might be closed. The one on the left had a barrier with a "no entry" sign on it, which was positioned partially on the path so I couldn't tell whether it was actually closing the path or just being stored there. In my experience, it's best not to go past things like that because there's a danger that you can ride the whole length of the closed section and then not be able to get out at the other end.
