 Just as I entered my room, a text arrived from the owner of the other hotel. He had seen that I had called and was asking, in perfect English, what time I would arrive. I said that I had already been there but had now found another hotel and he seemed really disappointed, even though I'll still be paying him. He said he had been in the hotel all day. If I had known how disappointed he would be, I would have abandoned this room and told him I could be there in half an hour.
