 There were two hotels which were close to where I was and boasted 24-hour front desks: this one and the Ibis. I was thinking of possibly trying not to use any of the big hotel chains on this trip and anyway I passed the Ibis earlier in all that bedlam around the Opera House. At the time, I though it was lucky that I wasn't staying there because there was nowhere to park bikes.
