 Back where I started. The bike has done well: its only incident has been one broken spoke. It's got the same tyres and chain as it had when I left here. That's not very remarkable really because at 1691 km, or 1051 miles, this trip has been less than a third of some other years'. It had felt like I was making slower progress every day than in previous years but the scatter plot below shows that I have actuually been riding at about the same speed as last year but just having shorter days. Also, in case you were wondering, I did actually go further by bike than by boat this year, although not by much.
