 There were several cyclists on the ferry. As I was riding towards that lifting bridge, I met one of them coming back the other way. He said that the bridge had been open for a long time and he was going to go a different way instead, which is the way that I'm now going. I can't help noticing though that there is another bridge in the foreground and anyway, moments after I took this photograph, the lifting bridge was lowered.
