 My cold was quite bad during the night. I didn't get much sleep because of my sore throat and at one point I was retching into the toilet. I feel rather better now but I don't want another night like that as I've got a long ride tomorrow. Partly because I couldn't find a chemist's yesterday evening and partly because I know that a lot of bike shops further down my route don't open on Sundays, I had convinced myself that it was going to be difficult finding somewhere to get some medicine. That's why I started looking at the supermarket half-way along today's route instead of the one near the end. It had everything I wanted and now I'll have to carry some quite heavy food the rest of the way.
