 I'm standing by what I was saying nine or ten days ago about Steak'n Shake restaurants being peculiar to just a few states in the approximate vicinity of St. Louis. They were everywhere for a few days but I don't think I've seen one for at least a week. I mention it now because the company was founded in a town called Normal, Illinois. I once looked it up because it had a strange name and I found that the town got its name from the fact that it had something called a "Normal School". Well, it seems that Grandview, Tennessee had one too.
