 Two other cyclists arrived just after me and took their bikes into their room. I've locked mine in the car park. Today's ride has been almost exactly the same distance as yesterday's but has taken me half an hour less. On each of the days, I stopped once for some drinks at a petrol station. Yesterday was completely flat apart from the two bridges, while today has been almost continuously hilly so you would expect today to have taken longer. I did have a slight tailwind today but it was very weak. I don't think it was enough to compensate for the hills. I think the difference must be that the slightly gravelly surface of yesterday's Katy Trail gave more resistance than today's tarmac.
