 Just something that I saw from the Katy Trail. I'm making a late start this morning because I was up late last night planning the next few days and still had more to do after I woke up. I've got a pretty good idea how long today's ride will take though because I will be on this trail for almost the entire day, it's completely flat and there is no wind at all. I called the hotel in Sweet Springs this morning to check whether they had received the e-mail in which I told them where to send my driving licence. I got through to a woman who didn't speak much English, didn't know anything about it and just told me that she would let me know if they found my licence anywhere. It was rather less helpful that last night's call in which the man told me that he had the licence and had been trying to phone me about it. Maybe I'll try calling again tonight, or send another e-mail asking them to confirm that they received the first one. At least today is Sunday so failing to get the licence in the post today won't affect the chance of it reaching Clarksville by Saturday when I intend to be there.
