 The view from the lift. I predicted that I would be using a lift here. I would have looked for the stairs but firstly it's a bubble lift, which is quite fun and secondly, I've got other things on my mind at the moment because I've just discovered that my driving licence is missing. I handed it to the man on reception at last night's hotel for him to photocopy and I don't remember getting it back. It must have slipped my mind to check because we were talking about a few other things, including disagreeing about what he would have to dial to get an international line if for any reason he might possibly want to call my mobile. There was nobody at reception there when I left there this morning so I just left my key card on the desk. If they had found my licence by then, they wouldn't have had chance to give it to me.
