 Where is everybody then? the car park is almost empty. This tree is bigger than I expected. I only just managed to get my bike lock round it. One interesting thing is that I planned my route months ago so I've known how far I would be going each day. Up until Friday, my trip computer always ended the day showing almost exactly the expected distance but yesterday and today, it has reached the expected number when I have still been a few miles from the hotel. I've just realised why: it's because I swapped the tyres over on Friday night so the narrow tyre which I bought in Casper is now on the front. That means that the front wheel is going round more times per unit distance than it used to so the computer is counting faster. Now to see if I have the same issue here as at three of the four previous Nebraska hotels, where the receptionists have spent a minute or so claiming to be unable to see the record of my reservation.
