 Here's my motel, with one of the vehicles which can drive on rails parked outside. It's right opposite the railway line so I'm hoping for some rattling and honking in the night to remind me that I'm somewhere interesting. It's the last of the motels on this trip which I had to book by e-mail or phone, rather than through a website. Since it's been over a year since I booked it, I was worried that it might not even still exist. When I arrived, I told the woman my name and said I had a reservation. She opened the reservation book and shook her head, which worried me for a moment until I saw my name written on the page. It seems that the place is pretty empty anyway. I assume it won't be like this on Monday. I was impressed to have completed the 98 mile ride to Torrington before five o'clock. Today was 97 miles and I'm here before four o'clock.
