Even though I'm annoyed at having to come here, I do like Barrow's crest. You could work out what it represented from the pictures alone without knowing that Barrow-in-Furness even had a football team. There's an old 18-panel football, a red rose of Lancashire because Barrow was in Lancashire prior to the boundary changes of 1974, a nuclear submarine which is the main industry here, and a silly rebus of a bee and an arrow. I'm surprised they didn't go the whole hog and show the bee-arrow in a furnace.
