 The tower block is Rail House, next to the station. Crewe Alexandra gets its name from the fact that the club used to play at the Alexandra Recreation ground, which was where that tower block, some railway lines and part of the current stadium now are. This has got to be the strangest bit of sponsorship I've seen so far: The Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van Stand. Whitby Morrison are a local company and world leaders in converting normal vans into ice cream vans but there can't be many people here at each match who actually have any interest in buying one.
