Leicester City Stadium was opened in 2002 to replace the old Filbert Street ground, which I will visit soon. For ten years, it was alternatively known as the Walkers Stadium, named after the company which owns the world's largest potato crisp factory, here in Leicester. Now the sponsor has changed to a Thai travel agent.

The ground is sometimes used for rugby as well as football. In a few weeks' time, it will host three of the Rugby World Cup games. For football, the capacity is 32262 and the record attendance was very close to that, at 32242.
