 When I got to the first B&B, the man there wanted to take me to the new place in his car. That's obviously out of the question. If I was going to do that kind of thing, I could have got the ferry across from Birkenhead. He gave me directions but after looking at the map afterwards, I don't think they were the shortest possible route, which explains how the same jogger was able to pass me twice along the way.
