 It sometimes gets suggested that two professional football clubs could save money by sharing a ground. Since neighbouring clubs are often rivals, such suggestions are often not terribly popular with fans but it gets pointed out that rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan manage to share the San Siro Stadium. A pair of clubs who have at times entertained the idea of sharing a ground are the next two on my list: Liverpool and Everton. Any such plans seem to be off at the moment as Liverpool have just started to expand their stadium but what's interesting is that their women's teams do share this ground.
