 A ship and some dramatic clouds. In real life, I could also see the French coast quite well but it hasn't come out in the photographs. I think my camera has reached the end of its life. Ever since Derby, it's had some trouble getting its lens to extend but after that brief bit of rain, it seems kind of broken beyond all hope. At the moment, I'm taking pictures using my middle-aged phone so that the new one can stay on charge in my bag and continue to log my position. When I made that decision, I forgot that because the problem with the middle-aged phone is that you can't transfer data on or off it by cable any more, getting these pictures off it won't be trivial. The oldest phone is also having problems like never before. I tried to use it as a radio, and then as a music player, a few days ago. It would be okay for about half an hour and then start acting as if somebody was constantly pressing all the buttons.
