 As I was in the area, I couldn't resist visiting this spot. Have a look at it and see if it looks at all familiar. This is in fact the spot where the scene of John Cleese giving his car a good thrashing with a branch was filmed for the "Gourmet Night" episode of Fawlty Towers. My bike is demonstrating where the car was. I won't be thrashing it though. It's been pretty good. Its only problems are that it feels like there's a slight grinding going on somewhere in either the pedal crank or the rear axel, and the front gears have become so stiff that whenever I try to get into the top range, I'm worried that I'll snap the cable again.
