I have two issues with this stadium. The first is that it's shared by two clubs, called Hull City and Hull Football Club, of which Hull City is the football club and Hull Football Club is the rugby club.

The second is the issue of sponsorship. Like many clubs who have had big new grounds built in recent years, these clubs have chosen to name their ground after a sponsoring company. I don't really like that practice because it means that you can't easily talk about the ground without advertising but I expect that clubs can get a lot of money for it. After all, the football and rugby clubs are both known nationally and for a while recently, Hull City were in the Premier League, which gets broadcast all over the world so a company could get worldwide publicity from stadium naming rights. What I don't understand then is why this place was named after Kingson Communications, a company whose sole product is the cabling buried in the ground in this one city and its immediate vicinity.
