 The North East has always been a bit of a mystery to me. The name of this shopping centre reminded me that there used to be a county called Cleveland somewhere around here. In fact, the name Cleveland has traditionally applied to the region where I am now, between the River Tees and the North York Moors. From 1974 to 1996, Middlesbrough was also in the county of Cleveland, which covered approxmately the same region.
