 I never really expected to enjoy this match much and I was correct. Part of the problem is that the stadium doesn't have the history of Meadow Lane or Bramall Lane. Another problem though is that there are hardly any away fans. That's them over there. Bristol City. Nottingham-Mansfield and Sheffield-Chesterfield were both local derbies, Grimsby have a huge fanbase for a fifth division team and a great amount of ambition this season, and although the Burton fans probably occupied only about this much of the stadium in Bolton, they were right outside my window so in every case, the noise from the two sets of opposing fans has been comparable. That's not true here. Also, I don't know why this club is known as Boro when you don't spell Middlesbrough that way.
