 People seem to finish dining in the evenings earlier in New Zealand than in other places. Combined with the fact that I don't realise how late it's getting on these light summer evenings, that means that I have ended up being the only person in a restaurant a few times. This one will get a little busier over the next half hour though, as some other tourists realise that it's almost the only place open at this time on a Sunday.
