 I chose this hotel for tonight because it advertised that it had an airport shuttle bus. I checked when I arrived though and found that the bus only goes to the domestic terminal. Then I'll have to get another transfer bus to the international terminal which is on the other side of the airfield, near where I returned that van. I thought the receptionist here was crazy when she asked whether I wanted the domestic terminal. I think the only time I've ever been into an airport's domestic terminal before now was for a Christmas party in about 1990. Here in Perth, it's different though. Most of the planes that have taken off in the last two hours have been Qantas ones and I expect that most of those were going to the big cities on the East coast. Having seen the Eyre Highway, I know that not many people drive from Perth to those other cities and there's only one train each week so that can't carry many passengers either.
