 According to the man at the motel, this place sells bike tyres but it's not open on Sundays. He said that that's because the owner, possibly called Jake, is unusually religious and that in most towns, somewhere like this would be open every day. Apparently, the next place where I might get a tyre is Wanaka. I hope to be there tomorrow night but I don't know if I'll have time to go shopping. I will be having very tiring hilly days the day I arrive there and the day I leave and there's already somewhere else in Wanaka that I would ideally like to visit.
