 A bus to a nearby Earth and Sky Observatory. One of the regions which I passed through earlier was designated an International Dark Sky Reserve. Because of its proximity to the bus, I originally thought that the green thing was a mock flying saucer but it's actually an old turbine from a hydroelectric power station in the town, not the one at the far end of the canal.
