 Now another bit has come off the bike. This is the elastic strap over the top of the panier rack, which I have been using to hold an extra bottle of water in place. It's just unwelded itself from the frame. I think I can manage without that water bottle for the final proper day of my ride, from here in Pinjarra back to Perth. I have rarely depleted more than half of the water that I have been carrying. As it happens, I did drink most of it on the day when I came from Perth to here but that was because I was on that cycle lane alongside the freeway, where there was no opportunity to replenish my stock. I'm intending to go a different way tomorrow so I should pass some shops.
