 Balingup. Incidentally, the man from last night's guesthouse has explained to me that these town names ending in "up" aren't Danish as I had thought; they're Aboriginal. "Up" means "water" or "meeting place", since meeting places were always where there was water. When I looked it up later, I found that even the nearby town of Denmark isn't named after the country but after a man called Alexander Denmark.
