 I have parked my bike where it's blocking the vehicle access to the beach. I knew when I did it that although, given that there are only four vehicles on the whole visible length of this beach, and that each of them is probably staying there for at least a couple of hours, it's statistically unlikely that anybody will want to drive down here in the time while I'm taking pictures, it is in reality a certainty that somebody will want to get through in a way more preposterous that you can possibly imagine. What actually arrived just a few seconds later was a man trying to drive a pickup truck onto the beach while leading a horse on a rope. I ran over and moved my bike but somehow in trying to start moving again, he let go of the rope and the horse wandered back across the road into the farm.
