Apparently, there are a few towns in Australia which compete to see which can have the longest queue of utes (pickup trucks) with a dog in each one. Corrigin currently holds the record with a queue of 1527 dogs in utes. They seem very proud of the fact and have a replica dog in a ute on top of the petrol station and another in a field just outside the town. At the other end of the town, I passed a dog cemetery.
