 Although I've driven 675 km today, I'm only 131 km closer to Perth than I was when I started. This is where I'll be staying tonight. There is a little bit more to the settlement of Lake King than just this roadhouse, but not much. The petrol pumps are a long way from the building. They're self-service so somebody refuelling a vehicle doesn't actually have to walk to the building; they just have to walk to the credit card machine, which is also surprisingly far away, out of shot to the left. They probably shouldn't really be smoking while they do it like the woman I saw though.
