 It looks like the purpose of the work being done at the moment is to gradually destroy the plateau where the diggers are, let the rock rall onto the road below, and then carry it out of the pit in trucks. I had been told that blasting was carried out at 1 pm every day. That was just a few minutes ago but I haven't seen or heard any.
