 Since my bike has just been serviced, and presumably re-lubricated, I didn't much fancy leaving it out in the rain but there was no undercover parking. Two people from the hotel found me locking it up outside and said I could bring it into my room, even though that's upstairs. Although my room is number 200, it's actually the room immediately above the reception desk and there is a flight of stairs which directly links the two. It would probably have been quicker to carry the bike up that than to do what I was told to do, which is to wheel it the whole length of the hotel to where the lifts are, and then all the way back along the corridor upstairs. I think the last time I took a bike into a lift, it was on the QM2.
